No. You can book a free trial directly from the contact page without creating an account. Registration is only needed if you want to access the student dashboard and track your progress.
The trial is a real 30-minute teaching session โ not a sales call or introduction meeting. We'll pick one topic from your syllabus and work through it together. At the end I'll give you honest feedback on where you are and what a learning plan would look like for you.
A phone or laptop, a stable internet connection, and a Google Meet link which I'll send you 24 hours before. Have a pen and paper ready โ I recommend handwriting notes during sessions rather than typing them.
Absolutely. Parents are welcome to observe any session, especially the trial. Many parents find it useful to hear the plan directly rather than through their child.
Standard sessions are 1 hour. The free trial is 30 minutes. Intensive exam preparation sessions can run 1.5 hours โ message me to arrange these.
For steady progress, once or twice a week works well for most students. In the 4โ6 weeks before Cambridge exams, two to three sessions per week is strongly recommended.
Private sessions are fully 1-on-1 โ the entire hour is focused on your specific gaps, questions, and pace. Group sessions have 2โ5 students at the same level covering the same topic. Both are live, interactive, and exam-focused. Group sessions cost less per student but cover the same material.
Yes. Some students do group sessions weekly and book private sessions before tests or exams. There is no restriction on mixing the two.
Please give at least 12 hours notice via WhatsApp if you cannot attend. Private sessions that are cancelled with less than 12 hours notice are not refunded. Group sessions are not refunded for individual absences but session notes will be shared afterwards.
Sessions are not recorded by default. If you want a recording for personal revision, let me know before the session and we can arrange it.
I teach to the official Cambridge International syllabuses: IGCSE Mathematics (0580), IGCSE Physics (0625), and A Level Mathematics (9709). I cover both Core and Extended tiers for IGCSE and all paper routes for A Level.
Possibly. The content for Maths and Physics overlaps significantly across exam boards at IGCSE and A Level level. Message me with your syllabus details and I'll tell you honestly whether I can help.
No. Most students come to me mid-year or in the final months before exams. I'll assess where you are, identify the highest-priority topics for your timeline, and build a focused plan around what matters most for your paper.
Yes. Intensive sessions can be arranged in the 4โ6 weeks before exams. These are focused entirely on past paper technique, common exam errors, and high-yield topics. Message me on WhatsApp to check availability.
I teach students preparing for Cambridge IGCSE (typically Year 10โ11) and Cambridge A Level (Year 12โ13), regardless of which school they attend or which country they are in.
Payment is made via Airtel Money or MTN MoMo before each session begins.
Once payment is confirmed, your session link is sent to you on WhatsApp.
Single sessions cancelled with at least 12 hours notice will be refunded or credited to your next session. Packages (4 or 8 sessions) are non-refundable but sessions are transferable โ unused sessions can be used by a sibling or friend enrolled in the same course.
Yes. Single session rates are available. Packages simply offer a discount for committing to multiple sessions upfront.
Yes. No payment, no card details, no commitment. Just book a time, show up, and see if the teaching style works for you.
Google Meet. It works on any phone, tablet, or laptop without downloading any software. You just click the link.
Let me know before the session. We can use lower video quality settings to reduce data usage, or switch to audio-only if needed. WhatsApp video is also an option for 1-on-1 sessions if Meet is unstable.
No. A phone or laptop and internet connection is enough. A pen and paper for notes is strongly recommended. A scientific calculator is useful for Maths sessions.
